Ashleigh is a registered psychologist who has experience working with adults, adolescents and children. She completed her degree at the University of Newcastle and has worked across different settings including private practice, schools and disability services. Ashleigh is passionate about using a person-centred approach in which she views each individual as unique, with her approach to therapy being collaborative and non-judgemental. She has experience in the assessment and intervention of various presentations including depression, anxiety, stress, poor self-esteem, anger, self-harm, Autism Spectrum disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder and has worked with different intellectual disabilities. Ashleigh uses a broad range of interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), mindfulness techniques and Functional Behaviour Analysis (FBA) in order to empower each person and guide them to find their strengths and implement their own changes
