Therapies we use as Strategies...

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a practical and supportive approach to counselling that helps people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected. CBT supports individuals to notice unhelpful patterns and develop more balanced ways of responding to life’s challenges, building skills that can be used in everyday situations.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT is a compassionate approach to counselling that helps people build a healthier relationship with their thoughts and emotions. Instead of trying to get rid of difficult experiences, ACT supports people to respond to them with openness and kindness, while focusing on what truly matters to them. The aim is to help individuals move toward a more meaningful and engaged life, even when things feel challenging.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a structured therapy approach that helps people process distressing or overwhelming experiences that may still be affecting them in the present. EMDR supports the brain to reprocess difficult memories so they feel less intense and less disruptive, allowing people to respond to everyday life with greater ease and balance.
